Xzibit's First Album/3.5 Stars

"Not at all as good as Xzibit's other albums, though still some nice songs. Paparazzi, the Foundation, and Hit & Run Pt. II are nice songs, but there was alot of songs I didn't like. If you want Xzibit's best, then pick up "40 Dayz & 40 Nights" You should wait to buy this after you have the rest of Xzibit's albums."

"One of the best Xzibit albums. He gots real deep lyrics on this album, and he gots real bangin beats. If you want an Xzibit album, THIS is the one you have to have in your collection, he seems at the top of his potential on this album. He talks about life on the streets, and personal stuff, that you usually dont hear in rap now days. X keeps it real here. Everyone knows the joint, called Paparazzi, stuff is killa, Check this out now!

"10 years later and 6 total solo albums under his belt now, I'd have to say this is his best album, slightly better than ("40 Dayz & 40 Nightz" & "Restless" - both I'd give get 4.5 stars). Before he Pimped peoples rides and starred in TV shows and movies he was a hungry west coast lyricist and it shows on this one. Shorter than all his other albums, at only 11 songs, you get 2 ok ones, 1 classic, 2 almost classic tracks and the other 6 are good songs, a few being real good. Guests aren't too heavy either, on 4 songs. His lyrical hunger can really be felt on this album since he was young and tryin' to make a name for himself (which he did eventually). Production is nice as well. E-Swift & Thayod Asar each do 3 songs, Craig Sherrad does 2, and DJ Muggs, Diamond D & DJ Pen 1 each do 1 song. A nice album for his fans to have and his best solo from his first 6.
