Tractor - 'Worst Enemies' (Ozit)
Mike Reed | USA | 12/17/2004
(4 out of 5 stars)

"The much talented duo,UK's own Tractor brings to us fans of progressive psych, yet another nifty collection of well-written,superbly played tunes. All nine cuts were recorded between 1971-91.Almost as good as their 'Before,During And After...' compilation disc(see my review).Members Steve Clayton-drums and Jim Milne-vocals,guitar&bass are joined by keyboardist Dave Goldberg on several of the tracks here. The ones I liked best were "Average Man's Hero"(great harmony vocals),the beautifully arranged "Argument For One","No More Rock&Roll" and the outstanding five-part twenty-one minute indepth "Peterloo"(maybe the disc's best cut).Tractor may tour the states at some point,so I've heard. In the meantime, they're one of the several way-under appreciated cult bands with a good following pretty much in and around their home turf.A nice find."
