CD Reviews

Whoa
Jerald Gordon | Portsmouth, Ohio | 04/18/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This album is amazing. Woody didn't hold back when it comes to star power. Ranging from Men of Standard to Case to BBJay to Ruff Endz to Mary Mary to Dru Hill. Not to mention some others. This album has ballads and just smooth joints to listen to. It even has some jamming tracks on it. All I can say is Whoa. I mean this is definitely music for the soul. Cause what comes from the soul better than gospel music. This entire album is a testimony to how God delivered James "Woody Rock" Green out of a world of ... money and greed and opened his eyes to see the Light. A true man of God. How many people do you see give so much up and walk away. The money didn't make him happy the lying and the scheming didn't make him happy but he realized only what you do for Christ will last. This is his testimony."

"Woody you did it. What a lovely tribute to your mom. She was a wonderful person i'm sure.I feel that you've found your calling. Now get back to the studio and do a handclapping ,footstompping , can't hold it in me, remix of "I Won't Complain""
Inspirational Music from an Inspirational Man

"This is an amazing testimony to what God can do through people. This is a complete turn around for Woody. I've always been a fan of his ever since I saw Dru Hill working and singing at the Fudgery in downtown Baltimore. The CD is amazing. The vocals are tight, and the message is clear. If I ever put out an album, I want it to minister the heart, the same way the Woody brings it. This is a very good album and I hope the album sales reflect that."
