I was very surprised... this is probably THE BEST power metal album I've heard. This is a concept album about the legends of Odin and Asgard, and songs range from the murder of Baldur by Loki to Ragnarrok itself and beyond. All of the songs are well crafted with plenty of hooks and good lyrics, and the band avoids the cheesy pitfalls of many other power metal acts. If you like Manowar, Majesty, Gamma Ray, etc. give Wizard's "Odin" a try... you won't be disappointed." Melodic Speed Metal without a doubt!!!BUY THIS ALBUM!!!!! 06/08/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "I am a Extremely big Mid carreer Helloween fan.Namely for the vocal's,speed,and talent,but alway's shying away from their song's with stupid leric's like Future world and Dr. Stien.I like the song's that are more like Starlight,March of time and Someone is Crying.But still even with the Occassionally lame song here and there in my oppinion they're were the best.Now what does that have to do with Wizard,well not much except the fact that all Wizard's song's are well written,and played excellently much like the band's Nocturnal Rites,and Steel Attack.And I tend to think that Fantasy style music and Melodic Speed Metal go so perfectly together,and only tend to be cheesy to people who don't like Fantasy in the first place.Now if you've never heard good speed metal.By all mean's don't by a Slayer album.Unless you like a guy who sing's as fast as the music play's,and you have a hard time understanding in the first place.Instead maybe you could buy a Wizard or Steel Attack album.Some other EXCELLENT! groups are Sonata Arctica ,Insania and Freedom call,which are like so many other German and Italian Melodic speed metal group's, Extremely talented Midcareer Helloween copies.And I think there all great,but their's only one Michael Kiske( Old Helloween Singer)...And he's the BEST!!!"
