Almost Live Dates III but not quite ...

"This budget priced product from Direct Source Special Products Inc. (Amazon - $6.98) appears to be an abbreviated version of Live Dates III. The track listing is identical to LDIII but none of the tracks on this version exceed 5 minutes in length. Only "Come In From The Rain", "Wings Of Desire", and "Leaf And Stream" are complete versions. All of the rest fade out at or near the 5 minute mark.

As for performance, this product will make you long for the higher priced (but complete) Live Dates III as it does have very good sound and the musicianship is vintage WA. My rating of 3 stars is based soley on the incomplete nature of this specific version. It is worth the $7 if you don't already own LDIII and are looking to get a taste of the latter day incarnation of Wishbone Ash in concert at a bargain price."
