Album Details Winterborn Saw the Light of the Day in December 2004. The Group was Formerly Known as Mean Machine, a Heavy Metal Cover Band which Did Make Quite a Bit Name for Themselves. Mean Machine Had the Same Line-up from the Beginning as Winterborn Has Now. The Mean Machine Project was Formed in the Spring of 2003. Most of the Guys in the Band have Years and Years of Experience Out There in the Fields of Rock 'n' Roll. And One of them Has Not. Vapola Came Out Straight from the Woods, So to Speak, but He Has Adapted Very Well and Has Proven to Be One Hell of a Musician! the Band Has Set their their Goals Very High and Are Working their Asses off to Achieve Them. It turned out to be one of the best stabs in the dark I have ever made when it comes to buying a metal album. Their sound is being compared to that of Sonata Arctica, and while there are certainly similarities, Winterborn is a band that not only stand on their own will be huge within the progressive and power metal scenes. The musicians are all talented, but that doesn't mean jack if the songs aren't memorable. Luckily, Winterborn know to deliver great songs with magnificent hooks. I wholeheartedly recommend this album."
