Unforgettable!

""The disgrace of owning a good memory is the nostalgia" Albert Camus

With the arrival of every October, it's absolutely difficult (if not impossible) not to remind the powerful significance, as well as his eternal musical legacy of this creator of atmospheres: Kapell meant and still on, synonymous of febrile incandescence, untiring display of prodigious technique and refined lyricism; thundering pianism and luxuriant musicality and sheer commitment and subtlety fingering.

Several generations of pianists have arisen after his irreparable departure, but just a few have been able to sign their names in the collective memory. Willie was a poet, I mean creator in the entire extension of the term; and I' m sure that day after day, no matter where or how, his trace will be growing not only in our particular memory; but better still, in the arouse of new listeners and musical newcomers, every time they read this little but heartfelt homage.

To intend just define the legendary transcendence of his colossal pianism, and the kaleidoscopic web of feelings and livings he depicted, would range by far more than this simple review.

In memoriam!
