Power - Full

"When I heard this CD back in the mid to late 90's I was all over it. From the inspirational song, "Be Encouraged", to the jazzy tune, "Til The End", William Becton found a friend in me with this gospel CD. I loved it. I gave it to my music director at church so I could lead the song, "Til The End" and it went over very well with the congregation. Thank You William Becton. May God continue to touch you the way you have touched me."

"I've had William Becton & Friends' "Broken" CD since it's release in the mid-'90s and I still listen to it regularly. It's one of the most uplifting CDs and timeless. The single "Be Encouraged" which was released on urban radio sparked my interest and caused me to buy this CD. Every song serves as a motivation to get through a stressful day. Becton covers every possible dilemma that a person can possibly face on this CD. My favorites include:
- Sure Won't Forget (understanding that Jesus died for our sins)
- Still In Love With You (having an unconditional and loving relationship)
- Be Encouraged (no matter what's going on, one will overcome)
- 'Til The End (reminds of the poem "Footprints" about never being alone even when you're lonely)With the exception of the Joy intertude, this is one of my favorite gospel CDs from beginning to end."
Gospel at it's best

"Another excellent gospel recording that was released back in 1994. In this writer's opinion, the best songs on the album are, Still in Love, Sure Won't Forget, No Turning Back, Til The End, featuring Kenny Latimore, and Be Encouraged. These songs received heavy rotation on Gospel stations during that period, and Be Encouraged crossed over to the secular R&B Charts."
