Synopsis

Album Description
Malibu-bred rock star may seem like an oxymoron, Los Angeles based WHITESTARR is a band who has no qualms about surprises and contradiction. A band whose members you are just as likely to see in page six of Rolling Stone, the only artists to have ever performed at the Coachella music festival without a CD in stores, and a group that has rocked arenas after only selling a handful of records; their story is far from typical. With the upcoming release of FILLITH TILLITH, their second studio effort and their VH1 docu-reality show, THE ROCK LIFE, expect more surprises from Whitestarr in 2007. THE ROCK LIFE will follow the band through personal and professional struggles that accompany being a part of an up and coming rock band and through the creative and recording process of FILLITH TILLITH.

"Great CD... It's so good to hear some straight up rock & roll. No gimmicks (except Tony Potato), just great melodies & huge catchy hooks... BTW, google 'whitestarr' and you'll find some interesting things \m/"

"This is a great album! I think they did a great job with the variety of songs. You can definately see influence from other bands in many of the songs, which is great. The best part about this CD is they sound like a great rock band from the 70's and very early 80's (oh how I miss that rock era)! One of my favorite songs is 'A Lil To The Left' and of course I love 'Something Going On' (theme song for Rock Life). I did watch Rock Life and I did not buy it for that reason! I liked the music on the show and I like it even more on the CD! If you like old school rock, I think you will like this album!"
