"Boy, is this a fun album! I bought it specifically for the Whistler and His Dog, one of those tunes that everyone has heard and can't identify. The rest of the album is just as much fun. This takes us back to a time when American music was optimistic and we weren't trying to be hoods in the hood. This was the time of the building of the Panama Canal and still annexing new States to the Union. Listen to the samples and see if you don't get a smile on your face from this upbeat and long-disappeared style of music. Exceptional sound quality on the CD is a bonus."
