Wonderful!

"The only reason I have this soundtrack is because I followed a whim. If you love musicals, especially the darker ones like Jekyll and Hyde, Rent, or Cabaret, you will love this CD just like I do. It has just the right amount of gothic mystique, dark intrigue, and innocent beauty to cause its listener to find himself caught up in such a world. Basically, the story behind this musical is one of witchcraft, betrayal, a young priest who is caught between love and holy devotion, a young girl promised to someone she doesn't love, and the threat of public execution: all things that make a great story and more. All of this is complimented by a wonderfully talented cast. I definately recommend this soundtrack for anyone with a strong appreciation for musical theater. I just wish it would come to the USA."

"Listen, I know this seems like an odd "operamusical" but it's actually quite interesting. Not only do the full songs (not these stupid audio clips) sound incredble, but bits of history are impacted into the play. If you still need persuasion, go to the official website (whichwitch.no) and click "storyline" then "scene by scene". Then you can decide for yourself. This is an unusual musical, but it's really oine of the best out there."

"I first heard the whole score of this musical some days ago. It was on the show at Haakonshaugen, Norway. Even though the lyrics were in Norwegian, you still recongized the beautiful score. A splendid mix of classical, rock, pop, folk music and opera.

I have now listened through the London Cast recording, and I just love this piece more and more.

There is so much "ear friendly" music in this musical; Spin the Wheel is just lovely. Malleus Maleficarum really sets the tone, not to mention the Hallaluja choir at the end of the piece.

Many people have critiziced this piece, especially people from England. And I understand it. Because they have got used to sort of a standard formula on musicals. Les Mis, Phantom of the Opera etc. A musical should be like this, this and that.

Which Witch breaks this formula - it's untraditional, and it carries such a high overall quality that many of those with a stiff upper lip may have been a bit shocked.

Which Witch is a splendid musical. I just wish more people could understand that."
