CD Reviews

So, so clever
sahebjami | Chicago, IL USA | 07/11/2000
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This is an extremely clever concept album pulled of by an obviously learned musician. Klug combines dead-on 60's guitar and synth tones, percussion parts, backing vocals and production with complex arrangements, chord changes, and guitar riffs. At times, the changes are a bit too jazzy and the solos a bit too intricate for the era being satarized. This is forgiveable, though, because they are so good. The lyrics are hilarious. Buy it, play it for a friend, hold your breath for the 70's sequel."
