Drawing comparisons to AC/DC, Jet, and Foo Fighters, Western Aerial's latest full-length Try To Keep Up is chalk-full of the non-stop, pull-no-punches guitar-laden rock music that fans have come to expect. Featuring the anthemic All I Had In Mind and Hot As Hell along side crowd sing-along favorites Housewives, and Going To Jail the album also shows a more melodic, softer side of Western Aerial on Saturday Night (This Is Sunday Morning), as well as darker introspection on Feel Nothing. 'We've really grown over the last couple of years as musicians and songwriters; these songs show a tighter focus on those crafts.' says vocalist/guitarist Geoff Metts. Try To Keep Up is Western Aerial's third studio album and the band's sixth recording to be released, including a live album and two EP singles.
