Album Description

General Steele, of Smif N Wessun presents: Welcome To Bucktown, the first official release on the Bucktown USA Imprint. The album delivers some of Brooklyn's finest MCs: Boot Camp Clik, Shabaam Sahdeeq of Polyrhythm Addicts, UG of the Cella Dwellas, Blayzah Blayzah, Smoothe Da Hustler, and Trigger Tha Gambler. Bucktown was inspired by the 1975 Blaxploitation film Bucktown. The soundtrack takes the listener through modern day Bucktown AKA Brooklyn, as coined by the Rap duo Smif-N-Wessun circa 1994, and explores the evolution and current conditions through the eyes of Hip Hop Brooklyn artists.

"this cd has been the best ive herd in ages.

general steele really there a game on this cd.

the beats are super tight,with that grimy sound we all love from the boot camp clik members.

also there is a stack of guest artists on here aswell,such as,smiff n wessun,the representativiz,rustee jux,5ft of black moon,illa noyz,sean price,the smith brothers,trigger tha gambler,and thats even all of them.

so just the guest artists is worth buying the cd,and no wonder it turned out such a dope album,theres also a slew of of top notch producers on here too,dj revolution,j scrilla,che triumph,7ven h.d,sic beats,ayatollah.so all of them should tell you this album you can put on and let it play and you will nod you head for the whole album.

plus there some dope scratching from dj eveil dee,plus some small addtional drum work from him too.

all this adds up to the best album ive herd in ages.

this 1 will be a classic for sure..
