CD Reviews

The best album I have ever heard.
06/20/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"A Pagan Place is an album brimming with joy, passion and spirituality. The lyrics and music are brilliant. The band is in top form and you can tell they really believe in the songs they're singing. The first time I heard this album (especially the song A Pagan Place) it left me literally shaking with emotion. Red Army Blues is a tragic song about a Russian soldier with an indominatable will to survive. Church Not Made with Hands is one of the most joyous songs I have ever heard. If you want to experience a brilliant musical experience, I highly recommend this album."

"I agree with you Australia- this is the best album of all-time. I have yet to hear an album that combines as much passion and energy as "A Pagan Place" does. Saw them open up for U2 during the 14 city 'Unforgettable Fire' tour of America- they blew me away."
Brilliant!

"If you like hard-rock and at the same time enjoy irish folk-music, you should turn to The Waterboys. This CD is magnificent. Especially Red Army Blues, and Church Not Made With Hands."
