This release has more blues than soul, which makes it different than his other releases for that reason. Listen to (Cold Shot), which he co-wrote (also covered by Stevie Ray Vaughan), nothing short of excellent. Also listen to (Let's Straighten It Out). This song is a classic, also he does his best guitar work on this one, it is more upfront on this cd than his others."
