Quirky essentials from Detroit's Volebeats

"This is a spunky collection of rarities and covers from the veteran Volebeats. Detroit's best alt-country band is in fine form, whether they are honky-tonkin' on 'Hold On','One I Love' or '318,' ballading on 'Too Much Love' or catapulted into an inspired cover of the ABBA hit 'Knowing Me Knowing You.' Other covers show cheek; Slayer's 'Die by the Sword' is dirge-y but you gotta like them for trying. A must-have for fans, their best since Sky & the Ocean."
