Anecdote

"At my wedding a year and half ago in San Juan, Puerto Rico, I had Nabeel and Javier (Vivanativa) play the music at the church. They played "puro amor" (just vocals and guitars), and it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. They have an outstanding talent that deserves recognition and finally their getting it. If you don't have this album you must get it and also if you don't have their first album, get it! (If you can find it). It is definetly worth having. The music is fun, different, very funky rock which gets you in the mood to party and have fun. They use a sax player which is awesome, gives the music a real different edge. If you haven't seen them play, you must. Javier (the singer) has such a great stage presence and keeps the place jumping. He'll do almost anything to entertain the crowd. It's a great party. The best part is the members of Vivanativa are such beautiful people and very apreciative of their fans. So if you see them, just say hi, you'll fall in love with them and with their music, I guarantee it."

"Vivanativas sophomore album 'Viejo' is certainly something worth listening to. The vocal harmonies are top notch. "Me sobra el agua", "mujer", are really amazing songs. I garanty you'll enjoy this disc."

"Viejo is the second CD for Vivanativa. In this one you'll experience lots of positive vibrations. The first cut is the beautifully written ballad Puro Amor where the vocals blend so armoniously with the guitars and sax. This CD will make you wanna jump with songs like No quiero Olvidar, Me sobra el Agua, Por Kenny etc.. As a bonus track they recorded Mi Aguita Amarilla (A classic song in the University Environment). My recomendation is buy it, learn the songs and catch them live. They're full of energy and their live acts are AWESOME !"
