The soloists are flawless. Susan Gritton is truly an artist and everything she touches turns to gold. However, the true gem of this disk is track 8, In memoriam aeternam. Scored for three (female) altos, the lowest part actually written in the tenor range, this trio will curl your toes. The deep, sensual beauty of these women's voice, Nathalie Stutzman, Alexandra Gibson, and (tenor!) Hillary Summers, is sheer opulence."
