Vintersorg rules

"easily one the best singers out today. I like the way his album is very diverse yet consistent. He had a wonderful voice and a black metal voice, he can switch back and forth very easily and it sounds great. The songs are epic sounding and very solid. I suggest you also check out borknagar's latest release called empiricism. It freatures ol vintersorg on vocals, he is their new singer."

"This is truly the most amazing album I have heard in a long time.Mr. V's vocals are some of the greatest I have ever heard.Anyone who would like to experiance the perfect blend of beauty, and heavyness should check out this album."
Not as good as past efforts

"I've had "Visions" for a while now, and listened to it only seldom. In my opinion, this CD lacks the power and depth of past albums, including the brilliant "Cosmic Genesis." There are a few songs on "Visions" that stand out, most notably the excellent "ESP Mirage." However, most of the CD is uninteresting, though technically proficient. Vintersorg's voice is still excellent, though there are no tracks here that show it off to maximal effect, like "A Dialoge With the Stars" did on "Cosmic Genesis." I have heard from others that the album is a grower, but I still say try before you buy. It is a decent album, but not excellent by any means. Do yourself a favor and pick up "Cosmic Genesis" or any of his past Swedish albums ("Till Fjalls, etc.)."
