CD ReviewsCD with true originality 06/25/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "I really like this CD. Vim obviously has a broad range of influences, but they are well digested and hence nothing on this CD sounds like some other band. The writing is what I like most about this effort. There is a broad yet cohesive range of style. The main style would be a hard world sound. I've had a chance to see Vim live and they really put on quite a show. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who likes interesting and different yet accessible rock music. There is definitely an eastern element here, with the Dumbek and Tambura and the Vocal inflections. Also, the melodies and chordal structures have that element as well."
