Wishing us Phil Spector-inspired, crunchy guitar-filled, energetic garage rock Holiday greetings all the way from Norway comes a power pop powerhouse called Vibeke (pronounced vee-becca)! Carrying with her killer songs with monster hooks, a voice that can smash through walls and alternately, calm the soul, and a command of the stage like no other...... We loved her Pop Detective debut and this one continues the high standard she has established for herself! Kudos to Vibeke for coming up with five totally original compositions in a time where a lot of artists take the easy way out and cover the same old holiday "standards'! "I Must Have Been So Good" could've been a Ronnie Spector number! If The Pretenders (tell me "Mistletoe Kissing" doesn't sound like Ms. Hynde + mates!) or Blondie ever did a Christmas record it would've/should've sounded like this!
