CD Reviews

Great variety and value!

"I am giving this title five stars because of the great value of this item. There are fifty-five songs on three CD's and every song is from a different artist on the Nuclear Blast Label. Sure, I didn't like every single song in this set but I liked enough to feel that I got my money's worth. If you enjoy Metal in it's various forms, I would highly recommend this set. On the other hand if you only care for one style of Metal, you might be unhappy with the variety in this box set."
Money well-spent

"I went on ebay and found this 3-disc set for two dollars! WOW, and for these CDs, I'd willingly pay maybe anywhere from 15 to 30 bucks . OK, so the first disc only has a few good tracks on it, and one great track by Dismember (dismember MADE the first CD in my opinion). So, after hearing that CD I wasn't sure if I was even going to give the second CD a listen, but hell, Meshuggah, the greatest band ever, was on it, so I popped it in. Besides a few dumbass thrash-metal songs with horrible vocals, everything else is awesome. A few standout tracks for me would have to include: Meshuggah, Crack up, Slapdash, Night in Gales, and of coarse Hypocrisy.

So, the third disc only gets better, with food for the gods by in flames, Endless energy (unreleased song) by am I blood, and tons of other great songs that complete this CD set. I love everything on these CDs dispite a few completely weak performances. But hell, I only spent 2 bucks anyway."
