The songs are carefully chosen to showcase different writers, and the singers perform them with strength and assurance. It's a must have for those who like folk music. My only complaint is the liner notes left me a bit cold; the person who wrote them was a bit presumptive and chock full of his own goodness. Skip the liner notes and just listen to the music; it's worth every penny. I can't get my CD out of my boyfriend's car, so I may have to buy another one. This from a guy who likes rap."
