Top of the Stax Volume 2 proves that Memphis's immortal Stax Record company produced enough GREAT soul hits to fill not one but two volumes, nay even a third volume (hint! hint!). The Rise and Fall of Stax was the Rise and Fall of Great R&B, and gems like this exist to remind us how great our music once was."
