CD ReviewsA surprise do-wop gem! The Godfather | Urbana, IL USA | 12/07/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "Like do-wop? Get this CD. I was given the vinyl as a gift back in my high school days (ancient history). It had one of those generic covers with supposed teens dancing and I thought it was one of those cheap imitation albums. Never bothered to notice the artists and songs. Then one day I took it out and WOW! Just think of these songs: Little Girl Of Mine,Can't We Be Sweethearts, and You Baby You by The Cleftones, Come Back My Love by The Wrens, Gee by The Crows (arguably the first real rock and roll song), Sunday Kind Of Love by The Harptones. Fantastic. With the revival of interest in do-wop (for some of us it never died), this is a great find."
