I've never got a chance to see the movie but this CD is great. All track are good but there is one standout.The track from Common - High Expectations. Is the most beautyfull song i've ever heard. Everytime when I hear this song I remember my days on the basketball court. It has so much to do with my life. It's like a reflection, or better a flashback. I can hear it everytime and i never get tired of it"Schools want me, but the ghost of Manigault haunts me Plus they wanna crib me, way out in the country I'm city like street lights and some games that be fights Never worked on my left so it's hard to be right Either rich poor or Mike is who I wanna be like Story of many black males that I refuse to rewrite" Common Sense - High Expectations!" |
