(4 out of 5 stars)

"*"Switch On" by Paul Oakenfold. Awesome electronic rock song with strong percussion. Definately a good action song!

*"Ace of Spades" by Motörhead. Loud hair-metal song with good guitars. Pretty cool.

*"Landscape" by Marr. More modern heavy rock song, with good guitars and some gnarly vocals.

*"Patient Eye" by Midnight Movies. Softer chill-out type of song, with acoustic guitar and soft vocals. Nice and moody, but a little out-of-place with the other rock songs.

*"Little Landmine" by DJ Swamp. Great guitars, cool rap lyrics, and lots of weird vocal effects.

*"Money" by Jessica Hoop. Another soft track, soft percussion and vocals.

*"Play With Your P****y" by Max Romeo. Some kind of upbeat reggae song.

*"Think Fast" by All Too Much. A modest, upbeat pop/rock song.

*"Coral Den" by Midnight Movies. Heavier, downbeat rock song.

*"Killer in the Rain" by DJ Swamp. Awesome guitars, lyrics, and percussion. Good rock song.

*"Black Bubblegum" by The Dillinger Escape Plan. Another good rock song; good guitars and strong vocals.

*"Zen" by Strapping Young Lad. Very obnoxiously loud, screamy, and fast. It's kind of good, and some of you may like it. I find it kind of annoying (good thing it's at the end of the CD).

This is a good compilation of some of the music used in the movie "Shoot 'Em Up" (and a number of songs that were omitted from the film). There are many more tracks that could have been added and probably should have been added (I am a little ticked that Motley Crue's "Kickstart My Heart" is not included). Still, this is a unique mixture of songs, ranging in style, mood, and pacing. If you're looking to expand your selection of rock music, or if you liked the movie's music in general, this should be worthwhile listening to.

This would also be a good compliment to the "Crank" soundtrack."
