"If you are, as I am, a fan of local sounds, then this is just the ticket.

What a blast to hear era music that I've never heard before. Needless to say "60's Garage Unknowns" is exactly what it represents itself as.

Rare regional tracks that delight and pique your curiosity as to the fate of these wild rockers.

What! You mean Gear Fab has included liner notes and Actually took the time to deal directly with these long lost artists and paid them?

How refreshing is that?

Generous at 29 tracks (coming in at just over 1 hour) the sonics in some cases are historic (some are acetates) but that's the thing that makes this so endearing.

Gear Fab has treated these tracks with loving care, carefully preserving these gems. Unlike some other labels that just throw together compilations with no consideration to quantity or quality.

If you dig raw, real 60's garage music, than make haste and get your grubby lil' mits on this smokin' bit of nostalgia.

It'll make you long for the days when you hung out in the garage blastin' yer way onto obscurity, but dreaming anyway!"
