LA MUSICA DE LA AGUAS AZUL

"Pacific Moon is a groundbreaking label, based in Tokyo and Seattle. This recording is a fine introduction to some of their recording artists. It is an eclectic showcase of talents. The track "TEINSAGU NU HANA" is a pop song sung in beautiful Japanese & English, it is a unique track. The two tracks from UTTARA-KURU are wonderful & display their wide range as artists well. MIZUYO KOMIYA has two tracks, one being the amazing epic piece "TSUGARU", this track is about 10 minutes in length and it is a great arrangement. HAE has the buddhist monk based track, it is so spectacular. Also spectacular is the song "HANNYA SHINGYO". A great compilation from a new label with the great idea to enclose small incense sticks in the clear spine of each CD. Everytime I get this CD out to play, I am hit with a great fragrance. Of course, the music is good too."

"I found this album to be a wonderful arrangement of different artists and moods that are ideal to do power yoga to, as well as for contemplative listening. It is mostly instrumental, although there is one chant akin to Buddhist chants. Unlike many of the traditional yoga CD's, this does not go on endlessly on any one tack, and you could just as easily imagine listening to this at happy hour while looking out across the ocean. This is my second purchase of this CD. The first one was destroyed by an errant CD player."
