"Ahhh...it was June 1997, and I was in Vienna. My friends and I wanted to buy some "cool European music" (i.e. "techno") to take back home. We stopped in the Virgin megastore there and browsed around. I only had about 100 shillings left which was just enough to buy this CD. It's a pretty good disc. I'm no connoisseur of techno, though I've become more of a collector in recent years; but I enjoy some of the songs on here. "Yemaya" is probably my favourite. It's a really deep, mysterious trance track that seems to sample tribal chants. "Euphoria" is another favourite. HEAVY bass with some bodhisattva moaning mixed in. And for the ultimate trip, check out Kode IV's "Near To The Divine." Yeah, it's pretty good. It was the first "techno" CD that I bought, and it introduced me to a whole other world of sound."
