CD ReviewsMost excellent reggae anthology 11/28/1998 (4 out of 5 stars) "I became familiar with this album on vinyl approximately 10 years ago. These recordings were done in the studio of Leslie Kong in Jamaica. He ran one of the only studios to treat the artists fairly, which explains the large number of top-notch artists that he recorded. There is great variety on this album. The level of polish is fairly high, but the sense of immediacy has not been lost at all. Probably the best reggae album that I know of. Sadly, Kong died at an early age, almost cetainly limiting the spread of this type of music."
