"Hed Kandi does it again with the latest installment of their 'Disco Kandi' series. Another phenomenal collection of funky disco-house tunes, Volume 4 includes such fantastic hits as Roger Sanchez's UK #1 'Another Chance' (which contains a vocal sample from Toto's 'I Won't Hold You Back') and Jakatta's 'American Dream' (Joey Negro's fabulous dancefloor reworking of the 'American Beauty' theme). Other hits include the E-Smoove remix of 'Stand Up' by Thunderpuss, a cover of the tune by Love Tribe, which was itself based on Machine's disco classic 'There But For the Grace of God'; Static Revenger's 'Happy People'; and 'Rise' by the Soul Providers. With sounds ranging from the French Daft Punk/Mirwais-isms of Bastian, to Negrocan's Latin-tinged excursion, to the filtered sounds of Full Intention, this very affordably-priced 2 CD set will get your booty shaking!
