Solid Swinging Blues

"An authentic swing/jump blues record. Much better than many of the current retro-swingers (Big Bad, Cherry Poppin', Voodoo, etc.). Highlights are a tough guitar instrumental by the great Anson Funderburgh, "Solid Gold Cadillac" by Mitch Woods, and a classic treatment of "Layin' in the Alley" by Big Joe & the Dynaflows. Very cool."
