On most of the "various artist" CD's, you find songs that you already have in your collection. This CD is different, it has music being performed by known artists, but the song selection is usually different than what you already have in your colletion. I highly recommend this CD as a strong addition to what you already own. If you are new to the blues, this would be an excellent start to an excellent collection.

"Rockin' jumpin' jivin' blues, taht are versitile enough to appeal to the swing and rockabilly fans. Great gruff, and fun stuff from the late 50's mostly."

"Wow this is some rough and gruff jump blues, that rocks hard and rolls easy. Great r&b for jitterbug and jive dancing. This cd also covers more traditional and straight blues, but in most cas the music is boppin' and even comes close to a rockabilly sound at times, but abovce all the music bounces and it all falls in the 50's jump blues r&b genere."
