"This recording brings drum & bass jungle to a current level of hip-hop awareness with its ability to fuse after-club drive-home twilight fuzzies with down-to-silicon beats even a newbe would appreciate. No played-out Pentium 1 rehash! A serious five-*!"
It's a shame that it's gone out of print...

"This album is chock-full of excellent early trip/hop tracks most influenced by jazz and r&b. This (and the Volume 1 edition) introduced me to trip-hop and eventually electronic music in the early 90's, and to this day I still listen to it when I want some mellow but not at all boring or newagey music to chill by. Kruder & Dorfmeister, Massive Attack, Portishead and Hooverphonic fans will probably find this record to their liking."
