Amazon.com This benefit CD for the Northwest AIDS Foundation collects a dozen previously released remakes of classic rock and soul songs from the 1960s to the 1980s. Each listener will find his or her own highlights--this corner has always been partial to Aztec Camera's to-swoon-for take on Van Halen's "Jump"--but the entire disc makes for tasteful play-through. The overall slant is positive, with Sarah McLachlan (Donovan's "Wear Your Love Like Heaven"), the Go-Go's ("Cool Jerk"), and John Wesley Harding (Madonna's "Like a Prayer") in particularly sunny moods.
