CD ReviewsNot at all what I expected 06/12/2003 (1 out of 5 stars) "I was born and raised in the islands, so I consider myself somewhat of a soca connosieur. I was not at all happy with this CD as well as two others, Vol. 6 & 7. There were alot of familiar songs I heard on these CDs that sounded much better on different various artists audio cassettes I purchased years back. I felt the music was not as energetic as other versions of songs I have already heard. To me it was like watered down elevator music in the style of soca. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't recommend these volumes to serious soca fans."
