"Okay... "The Chant" ...! lol.. But everyone has their own opinions and certain tastes, So its all good. I actually just got my copy in the mail today. Everyone was ranting about it, So I went ahead and purchased it. Im not too crazy about Dougal. But he had a few good tracks on his CD. Now you wanna talk about a song to die for? DJ Seductions "Holding on" is off the hook! When it gets to the middle part of the song, It just makes u wanna get up and dance. Im actually a huge fan of SY, However I must agree with you guys. Its definately not his best work. But its not that bad. "Come Again" is a really good track. Vibes contribution is my personal favorite out of the two. "Techno wonderland" is a great song also. I havent yet heard the rest of the Bonkers series, And so far im more into the Happy2bHardcore Chapters. Its more "Get up and dance your a** off" music, While this CD is more "Kick back" music. Anyhow, Its pretty good, But its not a must (in my opinion that is) :)"
For Happy Hardcore, this is the ticket.

"One of the best Bonkers compilations, with the usual weak points and highlights. Each DJ lives up to their image. Dougal's vocal oriented stuff is a bit less cheesey than usual, which is great. The remix of Brisk and Trixxy's classic 'Eye Opener' is incredible. Sy confirms his position as scratchmaster, though the opening track sample is a bit much, especially since it continues a good way into track 2. 'Lift You One Stage Higher' by Class of '96 was the highlight of his mix for me, plus his scratching tricks (Sy makes vinyl sound like an instrument). This is, however, not the best mix of his I've heard. The first half of the third mix, by DJ Vibes, is a bit bland, but begins to go off around about halfway through. An excellent instrumental called 'Night Driving' features here, and the last track, 'Ravers Choice 8 1/2' is to die for. All in all, this is worth getting alone because it's 180bpm Happy Hardcore, and is an excellent introduction to happycore. If you're considering getting a Bonkers compilation, I reccommend this one or numbers 3 (definitive) or 5."
A crazy collection of tunes

"DJ Dougal-Not his best work. I still need to liten to some of the songs, but the 1st few bored me to death.
DJ Sy-Not a bad set. Alot better than his Bonkers 7 mix. All the songs are happy and bouncey, the way hardcore should be.
DJ Vibes-Cheesey Hardcore all the way through. Really hard bass lines though and chirpy female vocals. Very good mix. Wish he would have stayed."
