"Whether you liked the movie "The Blue Lagoon" or not, you should definitley check out this score. It is one of the most fabulous compositions ever made for a movie. It's gorgeous orchestra will take you to the edge of the ocean, where you will fall in love. A definite for any movie lover."

"I have one thing to say: Basil poledouris is a genius! I have never heard a more epicly, romanticly touching score. This incredible soundtrack is one of a precious few that has the power to "pull the strings of your emotion". When you hear this music, you can't help but be completely pulled into it. If you are a soundtrack lover, or any music lover for that matter, you NEED this CD! I can't see how you wouldn't like it if you had any appreciation for music at all."

"This soundtrack is as great as the film. The music is beautiful and mesmerizing, and I know of no other original instrumental score that can have such an emotional impact when you listen to it. Each track makes me think of that particular scene in the movie. The only problem with this CD is that it has become very difficult to find, but if you can get your hands on one, don't hesitate to buy it ! You won't be disappointed."
