"This is a great blues compilation - from Muddy Water's eternal "Hootchie Kootchie Man" to Little Walker's "Boom Boom Out Go The Lights" (which was a hit for Pat Travers in the 70's) these are classic blues tunes from the mid fifties. A great album for anyone who wants to get a good sampling of what the Blues are all about."

EVERYBODY'S HERE: MUDDY WATERS, LITTLE WALTER, HOWLIN WOLF, WILLIE DIXON, BUDDY GUY, OTIS RUSH, EVERYBODY ELSE THAT YOU CAN THINK OF THAT RECORDED ALL THAT GREAT CHICAGO BLUES ON CHESS RECORDS WAY BACK WHEN. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT FOR ALL SIX VOLUMES TO BE RELEASED IN ONE BOX SET, BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS, GET ALL SIX VOLUMES IF YOU CAN FIND THEM ANYMORE (GOOD LUCK!)."
