Despite the several tracks that I just couldn't bring myself to listen to (such as Sum 41, Good Charlotte, and Glassjaw - but what punk comp DOESN'T have those kinds of tracks?), I really really love this CD. My personal 2 favorite songs are "Armageddon" by Alkaline Trio and "No One Needs to Know" by Ozma, but whatever floats your boat can probably be found. Pop punk, hardcore, emo, ska-ish stuff, and good ol' "oi!" music, it's all on this thing. And there's also a good mix of the huge "Oh my god, it's them!" bands and the "I think I've heard of them..." newcomers. I got to find out more about smaller names such as the Eyeliners, Autopilot Off, and some such, and my life is all the more ecstatic for it. I really really encourage buying this CD. Because 6 bucks is not a lot to pay for 50 bands." It's a jam packed two-disc set, with 50 songs from some of the greatest punk bands of today and yesterday. I consider this album to be a feast of illustrious music that any Warped Tour fan will certainly enjoy.
The appetizer to this CD is a previously unreleased track by NOFX called "Three on Speed" followed by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones' "You Gotta Go!". The CD also serves up a bountiful collection of main courses featuring such bands as: Midtown ("Become What You Hate"), Good Charlotte ("East Coast Anthem"),and Slick Shoes' "My Ignorance". For Dessert we flip to the second disc, which features, Alkaline Trio's "Armageddon" and The Movielife's classic song "Hand Granade". To top it all off, why not sip the refreshing Irish melodies of Flogging Molly's "What's Left of the Flag". This is a must have, and a great addition to any ones collection.
