"This is a truly delightful CD with 24plus songs. Since some of the songs have various titles from one film, we are actually getting more songs than 24. The CD is of excellent quality, and it plays for 78 minutes. It contains many Original Film music scenes, plus original songs from German soundfilms, some of which are being published in this CD for the first time. This CD includes many of the best known German film stars, e.g.Zarah Leander, Marika Roeck, Elfie Meyerhofer, Willy Fritsch, Paul Henkels, Rosita Serrano,Maria von Schmedes,Rudy Schurike, und viele andere. The sound quality is very good, but not quite what one has learned to appreciate from the best of American Musicals. There is a wonderful 'bonus' included with this CD: a 42 page history and picture booklet of scenes and stars from the many films.
