Love Van, but...

"Maybe on the 10th listening I'll discover something more, but what I was looking for wasn't there. Van has an incredible talent for writing beautiful melodies that are wonderfully obscured by his unique vocals, yet they come through gorgeously in the background through the talented musicians with whom he surrounds himself. No matter, I love the man, regardless. What a gift he is to us."
