Van Morrison was one of my favorite artists in the 1970's. Albums like Moondance, Tupelo Honey, Hard Nose The Highway and Wavelength were all terrific. For whatever reason (I think it was his shift in HIS musical styles), I lost interest with his offerings. Well I just recently started collecting some of his more recent discs, and have been very impressed with the content. Days Like This (1995), Back On Top (1999) and more recently Down The Road (2002) have made it into my CD collection. Perhaps it is a change in MY musical tastes, but I thoroughly enjoyed Down The Road. Van always has a way of spinning a lyrical story within his music that is magic. I believe if you are a Van fan - you will totally enjoy this CD from him. All the songs are solid, and I'm glad I am back in touch with Van now!
