"I really enjoy classical music of all types, from Mozart to Tchaikovsky, but this album is one of a kind and it gives you a feeling that no other classical music album does."

A good Mexican waltz perspective

"The waltz is part of Mexico's musical tradition. This cd is a nice perspective of Mexico's most known waltzes. Including in the cd are works by the waltz master Juventino Rosas.Rosas' Sobre Las Olas won international recognition to the point that Europeans refused to believe it was his piece; they thought it was Strauss who composed it. Other popular works include Carmen, Cuando Escuches Este Vals, Alejandra, and Dios nunca Muere; all very popular,daedal and well known waltzes. The latter mentioned pieces have been song by mariachi singers such as Javier Solis, Pedro Infante, and Vicente Fernandez. If you were looking for a good waltz cd then get this one. You won't be disappointed."
