I REALLY wanted it have more new stuff...

"I really wanted to give this CD a higher review...REALLY! The cause is freaking great! I sooooo support correcting the situation that Tibet is in right now and I am all about encouraging peace (I swear I am not a hippy). And this CD is FILLED with a bunch of my favorite artists...So where could it go wrong? I was foaming at the mouth for it to come out. Well...The cause is great and the artists are great (at least to me), but honestly this is a review of the content and on that, I was only marginally happy. First, just about all of it was remakes of other songs that the artists had done...They couldn't write something new for this CD? What's up with that! And in almost every case the remake was actually less appealing (again, at least to me) than the original. So with great sadness I give this CD a three. It's NOT *bad*...But if you already have love these artists and have their CDs, don't expect to get anything new."
