Raw Emotion!

"Wreck Of Nerves the 2nd Uphill Batttle album is a sonic pipebomb
built from agony and personal strife: the lyrics slice through your gut with raw sincerety while the music being the essential
component tears through your brain matter with percussive rage.
Wreck Of Nerves needs to be digested in one solid sitting. As a work of art it is consistent and solid , each magnificently constructed song flowing into the next , delivering abrasive hardcore/tech-grind at the utmost premium level. I personally love the engineering job , the production is sparse yet bristling with raw clarity(courtesy of Scott Hull). Worth every cent this is an amazing piece of emotional intensity that needs to be experienced. I would definately put Uphill Battles "Wreck Of Nerves" alongside "Jane Doe" by Converge as quality , frantic
representations of 21st Century Post-Hardcore/Grind. Buy it and Change Your Mind!"
Great grind/metal/hardcore album

"Uphill Battle is a truly amazing band, successfully combining grindcore with metal, hardcore and other styles. This is not one of those trendy crossover bands you'll see on MTV this is a perfect example of what the underground has to offer. Uphill Battle's music can appeal to fans of any kind of extreme music, it is pretty much just extreme music for extreme people without any one genre to place them in. These guys kind of remind me of The Red Chord only with less breakdowns and more consistent fast heaviness. If you are a trendy nu-core kid who think Bleeding Through is brutal, check this out it will destroy your world. If you are into grindcore, death metal, or anything extreme or heavy I guarantee you'll like this."
I think this album is worth listening to at high volumes

"This album is great. It is super fast and heavy, but still melodic enough to keep it from becoming a solid wall of noise. It is enough of a wall of noise however, to keep out whatever is making you listen."
