UK CD Single. Glasgow's finest Union Of Knives kicked up a stir with their 1st EP 'Evil Has Never' late last year. 'I Decline' is the follow up EP and demonstrates the versatility and diversity of their sound. The band has been championed by John Kennedy, Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq, Jim Gellatly, Nemone and The Blue Room. Union of Knives are Craig (vocals and keyboards), Chris (vocals and guitar) and Dave (sound sorcerer). Their music shares the same mix of light and shadow characteristic of other bands found on similar northern hemisphere lines of latitude, such as Sigur Ros and Arcade Fire, probably a consequence of those long nights and short days. Their intricate melodies and harmonies part combine and part collide with an array of serrated sonics and darker overtones.
