CD Reviews

R&B at it's best

"Uncle Sam was a very talented singer who never fully got the recongtion he deserved. With his self titled debut Sam took it back to what true R&B should be. Standout tracks include Someone Like You,his cover of Tender Love and the lead single I Don't Ever Want To See You Again."
Need some of this R&B Back.

"We definately need some of this R&B back. Some of that ol' skool. Great ol' R&B is like Boys 2 Men, Jodeci (K-Ci & JoJo), Next, Tyrese, Case, RL, etc. Slow Jams R&B is really great, some of the up-tempoed R&B songs are good, but I love the Slow beats, y'know. Get's you really thinking."

"Since I started listening to Uncle Sam when he first released this CD it grew on me. True True I say he should of left Tender Love alone because that was wayyyy out of his league. "You make me feel like" I love the instruments in this song it was done beautifully his voice fits so well. "Leave well enough alone" speaks for itself I can relate to how he is feeling on this song. "Someone like you" great song listen to what he is saying on this song the way he sings lets you know he feels what he is saying. "Think about me" I love this song because it reminds me of back in the day when you could just think of someone and wonder do they think about you heck in this day and age love aint like that any more. "Stop foolin around" another great song. I wonder where he went it's a shame when someone gives you a taste of their voice and then disappears. Uncle Sam you did a wonderful job. Much love to this CD he didn't get acknowledged for this CD like he should have."
